Who We Need: 

Due to growth, we are searching for a Director of Product to join the team. In the role of Director of Product, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction, vision, and execution of a global product, ReadyRemit. We are looking for someone with the right blend of technical expertise, market insight, and leadership capabilities to lead the team on this quickly growing product. 

**This is a REMOTE position, based in the U.S. Some travel will be required.** Eligible states of residence:  AL, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MD, ME, PA, TX, WI

What You’ll Do: 

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy in alignment with Brightwell’s overall mission, vision, and goals. 
  • Define and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring it is aligned with the product strategy, client needs, and market opportunities, continually adjusting to changing dynamics and priorities. 
  • Manage the product lifecycle from conception through development, launch, and ongoing enhancements. 
  • Define, track, and report on key product performance metrics, analyzing data to make data-driven decisions. 
  • Optimize product development processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards. 
  • Stay on top of emerging market trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscapes to make informed decisions. 
  • Collaborate with engineering, product design, marketing, compliance, and other teams to ensure successful product development and launch. 
  • Work closely with Product leadership to develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts. 
  • Drive financial goals, monitor product profitability, and ensure alignment with business objectives and budgets. 
  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation within the product team and drive the development of new features to meet customer needs and business objectives. 
  • Provide guidance and direction to team members, empowering them to meet product development goals and objectives. 
  • Face any additional challenges or projects head-on, as needed. 
     

As a Director of Product, you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field. 
  • 8+ years of proven experience in product management and product leadership. 
  • 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role in product management. 
  • Demonstrated success in building and launching FinTech products. 
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in leading and developing high-performing product teams. 
  • Solid understanding of financial services, products, and markets, with the ability to drive financial goals for products. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with business users, technology leaders, and end users at their respective levels. 
  • Proficient in data-driven decision-making and market analysis to guide product development and strategy. 
  • Creative mindset with a demonstrated ability to think innovatively and propose novel solutions to problems. 
  • Deep understanding of customer-centric product development and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences through products. 
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 20%).
